Hourly U.S. Weather Analyses

Each hour a data assimilation is performed across the 48 conterminous United States to serve as a database supporting UND STWRC numerical weather prediction modeling activites and various weather-dependent analysis including the Roadway Environment Blowing Snow (REBS) Modeling System. The software used in the data assimilation is part of the NOAA GSD Local Analysis and Prediction System (LAPS) as modified during the past decade by researchers at the UND STWRC.
